Duracell is known for making the best alkaline batteries in the world, but new and more reliable rechargeables have made inroads into alkaline sales. Does that mean that the Coppertop is on its way out?
Not according to Interbrand, the consulting company that rates the world’s top 100 brands.
After being absent for a couple of years, Duracell has moved back onto the top 100 list. Duracell, one of three top 100 brands in the Procter and Gamble family, lands at number 85 and is given a value of $4.65 billion by Interbrand.
It seems that there is still nothing that can challenge Duracell’s alkaline battery technology when it comes to reliability and long life.
